Biomine is working to make the microbiome useful in areas where it has long been difficult to apply: everyday health and clinical drug development. From at-home testing and personalised guidance to microbiome insight in immuno-oncology trials, its focus is on turning complex microbial data into decisions people and research teams can actually use. Now that same approach is moving beyond the gut, into the vaginal, infant gut, skin and oral microbiomes. The work only matters if the biology is rigorous, the analysis is interpretable, the study populations are geographically relevant, and the findings hold up beyond a single sample or study.
