An evening connecting fellow South African women living abroad, sharing stories of life in Germany, building networks, and creating community with women who understand the journey. In celebration of South African Women's Month, Led By Her (the women-led arm of The Lekker Network, a South African professional community for women) is hosting an intimate Wine and Dine evening in Cologne, Germany. This wine & dine is part of a global series marking South African Women's Month celebrations, with gatherings unfolding across cities worldwide throughout August and September, honoring the strength, heritage, and leadership of South African women everywhere. An off-the-record, unhurried evening with meaningful conversation among women who understand the journey. Thursday, 10th September 2026 7- 10 pm (Cologne, Germany) Dine & Wine (own cost). Led By Joslynn Goldschmidt. For over 12 years she’s lived and worked abroad, first in the UK, and the past decade in Germany. Building a career across consumer goods, luxury, telecoms and mining with organisations including adidas, Vodafone, Vodacom and De Beers. Along the way she’s crossed 56 markets and countless cultures, growing through every challenge that comes with building a life far from home. None of it happened alone. Joslynn is quick to credit the mentors and sponsors who opened doors for her, and it’s that same spirit she now carries into The Lekker Network. Rooted in the simple question “How can we help you?” , TLN exists to support fellow South Africans navigating life abroad, from culture shock to the quieter, unspoken challenges of building a home in a new country. Humble, grounded, and still that girl with big dreams, Joslynn now shows up to hold the door open for others the way it was once held open for her.
